Behrang assemblymen Salina Samsudin said the special media conference will be held to clarify allegations made by the state opposition Razman Zakaria on several state assemblymen alleged meeting with the Perak Pas chief to overthrow the Unity Government.
She said the press conference led by Saarani aims to show the spirit of unity among the state government's assemblymen, especially on nine BN assemblymen.
She further dismissed the possibility of any vote of no confidence against Saarani's leadership during the sitting.
"On Monday before the State Assembly sitting, we will have a press conference. All BN assemblymen will be present. There will be no vote of no confidence proposed.
"This special press conference also aims to show that all BN government assemblymen support the Menteri Besar and the administration of the Perak Unity Government," she told Sinar.
On Razman's claims that several state government assemblymen had met with him to overthrow the Perak Unity Government. the Gunong Semanggol assemblyman said he was personally approached by the concerned exco members but he declined to disclose the number and names involved.
Prior to that, Saarani expressed his confidence that the state's Unity Government would remain in power until the end of the term leading up to the 16th General Election (GE16).
He said that he had received feedback from all excos after hearing rumours that the state government would change in July.
