KUALA LUMPUR: As state polls draw nearer, the Umno supreme council is having their scheduled meeting at Menara Dato’ Onn, World Trade Centre here tonight.

Among those seen entering the lobby headquarters were vice presidents Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani and Datuk Seri Mohamed Khalid Nordin. Also spotted were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad and Terengganu Umno chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Said.

All seem in good spirits as they waved and greeted members of the media as they entered the lobby.

It is believed the meeting will discuss several topics including the upcoming state polls in six states, namely Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang and Kedah.
