SUBANG JAYA - A man went berserk when he was addressed as "pak cik" (uncle) instead of "abang" or "baby".

He then threw a package of food and hot drinks in restaurant in Putra Heights, resulting in a four-year-old child being hit by the hot drink.

The incident went viral and received criticism from social media users.

Subang Jaya District Police assistant chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the incident occurred at 9am two days ago where the complainant and workers were serving customers at a restaurant.

However, suddenly a man acted aggressively. He said the suspect screamed and threw a package of food and a hot drink into the restaurant, hitting the complainant's four-year-old child.

Wan Azlan added that the complainant made a police report on Tuesday after discovering that the video had gone viral on social media.

Based on investigations, he said the incident was due to a misunderstanding between the complainant's worker and the suspect.
