SHAH ALAM - The Parliament session on Wednesday turned chaotic when Hulu Langat MP Mohd Sany Hamzan interrupted the meeting and described Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim as a rude individual.

The action caused Sany to be given a first warning from Deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Ramli Mohd Nor.

Ramli said the offence was recorded and if it reached the third warning, the house will take action regardless if it was a government or opposition MP.

"I have recorded it in my proceedings. For now Hulu Langat, this is the first warning.

"On the third warning I will not allow for such things to continue be it from the government side or the opposition," he said.

Ramli's warning was made following Sany's action to intervene during the Human Resources Deputy Minister Mustapha Sakmud's question and answer session, where he was responding to Shahidan's question.

Shahidan had asked on the state leadership efforts in attracting foreign investors to invest and develop their respective areas as well as increasing job opportunities for the youth.

Shahidan previously claimed that the Prime Minister and the unity government had kept silent and refused to meet with Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to discuss getting an agreement on potential investment opportunities in Kedah.

Mustapha said the Tambun MP expressed his willingness to meet and discuss with any party in a civilised manner.
