Umno does not want Malaysia to continue in a prolonged political conflict

KUALA LUMPUR - Umno does not want Malaysia to continue spiraling down into a prolonged political conflict.
Its president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Umno which was a party born out of the people's uprising and born out of a need to protect the country's dignity, must rise up quickly in formulating steps to join the progressive world of politics today.
"Umno must have a progressive nature we must look forward and work towards our political projections," he said.
Zahid said this in his policy speech at the 2023 Umno General Assembly (PAU) taking place at the World Trade Centre (WTC) today (Friday)
