Six-year-old girl drowned in Morib water theme park

SELANGOR - A girl is believed to have drowned while bathing in a pool at a theme park in Morib with her family members, approximately 2 metres deep.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said in the 11.30am incident, the six-year-old girl was pronounced dead while receiving treatment at Banting Hospital.
"When the fire department arrived, the girl had already been carried out of the pool by the public and was managed by Health Ministry officers to be taken to Banting Hospital.She was still unconscious but was not confirmed dead.
"However, the victim could not be saved and was later pronounced dead at the hospital," he added.
