SHAH ALAM – A 55-year-old man dies after being trapped in a locked toilet at his house in Setia Alam, here, today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said the department received a distress call from the victim’s wife on the incident at 3.04am and firemen from the Kota Anggerik fire station were deployed to the scene.
“The team reached the location about 15 minutes following the call and attempted to unlock the toilet.
“Once the door was successfully opened, the victim identified as Simon Tan Cheng Kim, was found unconscious on the floor.
Ehsan said the victim was pronounced dead by the medical team at the scene.
