KOTA BHARU - The Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Umno coalition is expected to be a fierce opponent to Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the upcoming state election in Kelantan.

Pas vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said PN has never took its "enemies" lightly.

Hence, he said Pas and its coalition partners were currently putting together a strategy to face its opponents.

"It is not easy to defeat them because for us, in every election, we just have to work hard and we do not take them lightly," he said.

He said this after the Yayasan Islam Kelantan 13th Tahfiz Graduation ceremony, today.

He said it would be a tough competition in a two-cornered clash following the cooperation between Umno and PH.

Commenting further, he said opponent parties would keep on raising the same old issues.

"A total of 90 per cent of the issues being played are recycled and already answered with explanations previously.

"They only want to dig out the negative things and not answers," he said.
