Despite drawing mixed reactions over the news that she will be performing as the opening act for Coldplay at their upcoming concert here, rapper Bunga Isma says she will still give her best.

“I know not many people know me and question why I was selected but I still want to give my best for the audience,” she said in an interview with Sinar Daily.

"To perform in front of 85,000 people at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil is a very big thing for me and I am still new in this industry."

Bunga, whose real name is Noor Fatin Ayuni said she was surprised to learn that she was selected to be the opening act for the British band.

“I would like to say thank you first to all the fans who have supported me from the beginning and also to the Warner Music Malaysia team for being with me to this day,” she expressed.

As for the preparations, Bunga has yet to go through vocal practices due to her studies but will begin preparations next month.

Yesterday, Live Nation Malaysia announced that Bunga will be the special guest to perform at the Coldplay concert.

In the heat of fans going up in arms over Singapore getting four tour dates, many expressed their frustrations, saying they want an additional tour date instead of Bunga as the opening act, while others questioned who she is.
