KUALA LUMPUR - Telecommunications provider, Yes 5G by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd, is organising ‘The Wave’ community runs in two other locations, namely Bukit Jalil on June 17 and Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) on July 1.

In a statement today, it said The Wave - presented by Yes 5G in collaboration with Brand New Waves Running Club and We Are Kix - brings four community runs across the Klang Valley, which are free to join and open to all age groups.

Yes 5G said the first two locations in Bukit Bintang and Putrajaya saw hundreds of runners and supporters from all walks of life illuminate the cities with vibrant lights, music, and fun as runners wore custom-made neon LED suits and wristbands as the run kicked off at night, lighting the city in magenta as Yes 5G’s signature brand colour.

YTL Communications chief executive officer Wing K. Lee said Yes 5G, always find ways to co-create meaningful experiences with customers and the communities they serve.

"All four routes have strong Yes 5G coverage where you can enjoy uncapped Yes 5G speed and data. As 5G coverage continues to expand throughout Malaysia, we hope to spread The Wave of 5G in line with our mission to provide internet connectivity that is both accessible and affordable to all Malaysians,” Wing said.

According to the statement, on top of the five-kilometre fun run, participants and the public also stand to win exciting prizes through fun activities and mini-challenges at each of the events.

"The Wave encourages healthy lifestyle while getting the message across that Yes 5G is in your area. All four routes have strong Yes 5G coverage where you can enjoy uncapped Yes 5G speed and data,” it said.
