Pesona Metro secures RM180.8 mln sub-contract for Finas HQ construction

KUALA LUMPUR - Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd (PMHB) will undertake subcontract works worth RM180.84 million, comprising main building works and external works, for the proposed National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) headquarters in Damansara Damai, Selangor.

The construction group said its main subsidiary Pesona Metro Sdn Bhd today received a letter of acceptance from MRCB Builders Sdn Bhd, the project’s main contractor.

The project would span 18 months from the date of site possession, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

PMHB said the award of the project would not have any impact on the company’s share capital and shareholding structure.

"However, it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and enhance the net assets of the group during the duration of the project,” it added. - BERNAMA
