Adrenaline-fueled KL bike show to hit new heights with tourism, economic boost after Covid

KUALA LUMPUR - Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled extravaganza as the Kuala Lumpur Bike Show 2023 (KLBS 2023) gears up to be bigger event after Covid.

Tourism director-general Datuk Dr Ammar Abd Ghapa hopes to make it even better than before.

“We are actively focusing on revenge tourism and I have been in discussions with airlines and tour operators to explore and devise strategies for its implementation.

“In fact, I have asked the airline to consider increasing their frequency to Malaysia,” he said during the launch of KLBS 2023.

He added that by creating unique and captivating events as KLBS 2023, they hope to boost the growth of tourism, stimulate the economic and create a positive and generate an impact on the local communities/

He said there were be a line up of fashion shows, music and conferences.

“This is our capital and we should be proud of our capital. I hope we will make this event bigger and bigger as time goes by and I hope this will be a successful project,” he said.

KLBS 2023 was officially launched today at World Trade Centre KL. This highly anticipated event is specifically tailored for the vast community of bike owners in Malaysia which exceeds a staggering 15 million.

It will hold different types of bikes and accessories and will be held throughout the four-day event on Aug 24 to 27 at World Trade Centre, here.
