IPOH - Pasir Salak Umno division chief Khairul Azwan Harun refuses to comment about an apology towards Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman on the claims of sabotage during the 15th general election (GE15).

He refused to comment on further actions to be taken on the matter.

"No comment," he said briefly when contacted by Sinar on Monday.

Tajuddin on Sunday gave Azwan also known as Azwan Bro a week to openly apologise regarding his accusations.

The former Umno Supreme Council member said the statement relating him to the claims was baseless and merely accusations.

Tajuddin said if it was not done he would take action by suing and lodging a complaint to the Umno Discipline Board.

Sinar on Wednesday reported on Khairul Azwan's statement, where he wanted the Umno Supreme Council not to accept Tajuddin's suspension appeal claiming the former Pasir Salak Umno division chief continued to tarnish the image of the party's leadership.

Azwan in the statement wanted to ensure Tajuddin's appeal was not accepted by the Umno Supreme Council.

Tajuddin on June 9th revealed he had sent three appeal letters towards his suspension, but it was ignored.

However, party president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in the 2023 Umno General Assembly closing speech said the party was open to accepting those who were sacked or suspended.
