SHAH ALAM - Muslims in the country must reject two DAP concepts, which are extreme secularism and 'Malaysian Malaysia' as they are false concepts.

Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said secularism is a concept or an ideology that separates religion from institutions.

"The ideology tries to abolish or reduce the ties between the government and the people, replacing Islamic law with civil law. This is not fair and not in accordance with the country's religious policy.

"Both these concepts influence the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government as it is dominated by DAP. "They comprise a large number of people, including some non-Muslim extremist groups, including the liberal Muslims in Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR)," he said on Facebook today.

Hadi also said the group considered Islam to be unfair.

"This is a wrong assumption about Allah, the Almighty, who is free from all weakness and shortcomings," he said.

He added that the matter was based on the ancient democratic slogan 'Vox populi, vox dei' which means 'The voice of the people is the voice of God, or the voice of the people is the sacred voice'.

"That is how the voice of the weak can overcome the words of the Almighty God," he explained.

He also said secularism was often associated with the Age of Enlightenment, which happened in Europe and played a major role in western civilasation.

"The main principle of the ideology is separating church and country, religion and science in Western countries, as well as the Industrial Revolution.

"Now, it is evident that ideology has a negative impact, such as in politics, which lacks morals because of the spirit, which is lost when the faith is gone.

"Western democratic society has become irreligious, thus destroying the identity of humanity and causing the destruction of family institutions," he said.
