Direct umrah flights with Batik Air

SHAH ALAM - Angkasa Mukmin Sdn Bhd and Hayya Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd travel agencies have announced a strategic cooperation with Batik Air to provide flight tickets for umrah.

Angkasa Mukmin chief executive officer (CEO) Mohd Yusni Ismail said the collaboration aimed at making the pilgrims' trips to Saudi Arabia for umrah more comfortable and convenient.

He said having a direct flight service to Saudi Arabia was one of the advantages of flying with Batik Air as pilgrims could travel without having to transit at another country before reaching the destination.

He said he believed that Batik Air could provide low fares for umrah travel.

The collaboration with Hayya Travel, he said was a sign of commitment by the travel agencies in providing pilgrims with the best price offers.

“This collaboration would also benefit umrah pilgrims who desire a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable travel,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hayya Travel & Tours CEO Mustofa Mubarak Kamaruzaman said the umrah package rate offered was RM7,990 for the first eight months after the haj season.

However, he said the price was subjected to any changes.
