SHAH ALAM - A recent incident involving two Singaporean men has caused a stir after they became aggressive towards a food delivery rider who reprimanded them for refueling at a petrol station in Johor Bahru.

In a video lasting 1.41 minutes, one of the men can be seen attempting to assault the Malaysian individual who was recording the incident.

"Look, sir, observe his rudeness and apprehend him! He even took something to strike me," the victim stated in the video while addressing the policemen at the scene.

"I will report to the police that you attacked me with an object," he added.

Shortly after, one of the enraged Singaporean man approached the Malaysian and demanded, "You better delete the video."

Meanwhile, Iskandar Puteri district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Rahmat Ariffin, said that the incident is believed to have occurred at a petrol station here at 8:37pm on June 16.

He mentioned that a police report was filed on the same day by the 44-year-old food delivery rider.

"The police discovered a one-minute and 50-second video on the Twitter page 'Mynewshub' depicting a confrontation among a group of individuals at a petrol station.

"The food delivery rider claimed that while attempting to refuel, a vehicle with Singaporean registration plates, occupied by two foreign men, stopped to refuel at the same pump.

"The food delivery rider then noticed the foreigners holding a container at the same pump, leading to a dispute between the two parties," he said in a statement today.

He added that the auxiliary policemen at the scene subsequently resolved the altercation, and the involved Singaporean individuals did not have the opportunity to refuel, which was believed to be intended for 'go-kart' activities.

The video quickly went viral on Twitter, garnering over 450,000 views.

Netizens expressed their anger in the comment section, with some questioning the alleged slow response and lack of strictness from the policemen towards the Singaporean duo.
