Pas logo takes lead in Kelantan, Terengganu state election

KUALA LUMPUR - The upcoming state election in Kelantan and Terengganu will see Pas using its distinctive 'moon' logo for its candidates, while the remaining states will feature the Perikatan Nasional (PN) logo, announced PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"We will maintain our logo but Kelantan and Terengganu will be using Pas logo instead.

"Remaining states will use the PN logo," he told a press conference after chairing PN presidential council meeting at party headquarters here today.

When questioned about the candidates' names, Muhyiddin assured that the information would be revealed soon.

The decision to utilise the Pas logo in Kelantan and Terengganu has allowed the PN coalition to secure victory in these states, capturing all 22 federal seats and a total of 73 seats nationwide.

The by-election will witness a four-cornered fight, but many viewed the real competition to be between PH and PN.
