ALOR SETAR - Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is expected to meet the Sultan of Kedah Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah on Sunday.
Sanusi will meet Sultan Sallehuddin to seek approval for Kedah's state assembly dissolution.
The meeting was scheduled at 10.15 am earlier today at Wisma Darul Aman.
Previously, Sinar Harian reported that Kedah planned to dissolve its state assembly on June 28 to make way for the state elections.
Sanusi confirmed that he will appear before Sultan Sallehuddin to present the proposed dissolution date on June 25.
Six states will hold polls this year including Kedah, Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan and Terengganu.
