I am ready to answer all questions - Nik Nazmi

SHAH ALAM - Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change Minister, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, is ready to answer any questions about his ministry at the fifth edition of the Town Hall Rakyat organised by Sinar tonight.

According to him, the Town Hall session is the best platform to communicate the government's goals and intentions in achieving net-zero carbon emissions by as early as 2050.

"This session is an opportunity for the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change (NRECC) to meet, engage, and listen to the views of the general public.

"God willing, I will try my best to answer any questions that are asked and that I am capable of answering," he told Sinar on Sunday.

He further stressed that the NRECC greatly appreciates the provided platform to enhance policy approaches and work processes.

"Please attend in large numbers and ask both easy and difficult questions to enliven the atmosphere so that we can discuss matters related to natural resources, the environment, and climate change," he said.

The People's Town Hall, which will take place at Dewan Kumpulan Karangkraf, Section 15, retains popular actor Azhar Sulaiman as the host.

The last Town Hall took place on May 29, featuring the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

Previously, the Town Hall Rakyat featured the Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil; the Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, and the Home Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
