Umno has slid into the abyss of darkness, says KJ

SHAH ALAM - Umno has slid into this abyss of darkness, and it cannot recover from where it is today, says Khairy Jamaluddin.

Former Umno youth leader Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar said Umno is in a very dark place at the moment.

When asked if he has a higher chance of continuing his dream of becoming Prime Minister by rejoining Umno rather than Perikatan Nasional (PN), he said, "I don't think about that." "I’m not quite sure if Umno can recover from this, and of course it’s a party that I have a lot of affection for because I was with Umno for more than 20 years.

"I believe it (Umno) has slid into this abyss of darkness, and I’m not quite sure that it can ever recover from where it is today," he said during the press conference at the Future Leaders Empowerment Series organised by Youth Beyond Boundaries at UCSI University.
