PUTRAJAYA - Media practitioners who camped in front of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters returned home in dissapointment as there was no sight of the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.

In fact, the Chinese national who was said to be brought along with King Sing at the building was also nowhere to be seen.

Earlier, MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed that he will hold a meeting with King Sing and the Chinese native on Monday to testify the alleged misconduct of a number of immigration officers.

The Member of Parliament was reported to be present to explain an alleged corruption of an immigration personnel at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (Terminal 1).

He previously revealed a practice of power abuse and corruption involving the officials at the country's entry point.

It was after a video of King Sing breaking into the arrival hall without a security pass while allegedly trying to free a Chinese tourist.

On Sunday, the police informed that they are conducting an investigation on the commotion that happened at Terminal 1 of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
