SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional is accused of practicing 3R politics, namely race, religion and royal institutions as their political strategy.

Perak PKR Vice Chairman, Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad said, the matter cannot be denied because PN and Pas have made various slanders.

"Any nation that practices 3R politics will hinder its own development, and it is evident that PN is the party responsible for fueling these sensitive issues. This has been proven," he said.

He said this as a panelist on Sinar's discourse series 404 titled 'Adakah Bom Jangka Kedua', broadcasted live on Sinar's Facebook on Tuesday.

Joining him on the panel were Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam, Former Putrajaya Umno deputy head Datuk Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz and Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia founder Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegubard.

Muhamad Arafat further argued that a party's adoption of 3R politics indicates a lack of confidence and factual substance in their agenda.

"Hence, resorting to 3R is an easy way to manipulate people's opinions.

"It is a psychological tactic that aims to sway public sentiment towards the Malay and Islamic struggle at the last moment," he added.
