SHAH ALAM - The political beliefs that Pas strives for cannot be compared with other parties, because they have different beliefs.

According to Kedah Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor, Pas is at a different level because it is a party that focuses on this life but also the hereafter.

Sanusi said the political beliefs of former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin and former Umno deputy youth chief, Shahril Hamdan does not achieve the same goals as Pas.

"If you want to judge Pas from a contemporary way of thinking this party has already transcended contemporary values.

"Apart from politics, it is also an educational party that educates the public on true meaning of Islamic politics," he stressed.

Sanusi was responding to a statement made by Khairy or better known as KJ, who claimed that in the run up to the state elections, Pas only focused on religious issues over the economy, the value of the ringgit or the bursa stock exchange in his Keluar Sekejap podcast which aired on Tuesday.

He said the thing that Pas as a party focuses on is how to prepare Muslims to face death.

"At the grave and in 'Padang Mahsyar' ( land of gathering, where Muslims believe they will gather in the afterlife) there will be scales and questions asked of what our deeds were in this life, if you only depend on worldly things such as the ringgit and cost of living that will all end when you die," he elaborated

"All of our political actions (Pas) will be questioned by God, the prophet and his followers," he said.
