PUTRAJAYA- Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor needs to repent after accusing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of simply using the King’s decree to establish a Unity Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the fact remained that BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH) were told to have an audience with the Yang di-Dipertuan Agong after the General Election (15th) to form a government was undeniable.

“I hope (Sanusi) will prioritise 'nasuha' repentance,” he told reporters after witnessing the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Southeast Johor Development Authority (Kejora) and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Mardi), here, on Thursday.

Zahid said not everything could be used as campaign material, which would ultimately destroy oneself.

“Politics is not something to joke about. Facts are facts,” he said.

However, he refused to entertain the statement issued by the Perikatan Nasional (PN) elections director because it would be a nonsensical issue to discuss with parties who were not very wise in interpreting it.

Sanusi reportedly made an allegation in connection with the issue during ‘Jelajah Selangor’ talk last Tuesday.

He was also accused of insulting the Sultan of Selangor and belittling the appointment of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
