ALOR SETAR - Kedah Pas claims that the support and aura of caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor continues to increase following the issues he faced recently.

Kedah Pas commissioner Datuk Ahmad Yahaya said the narrative that ‘Sanusi did not do anything’ opened up the stories during the era of the previous ruling, taking advantage of those in dire situations.

He said the wave of the public especially the youth in rejecting Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) was increasing and becoming increasingly difficult to curb.

“Kedah Pas views this political slander continuously played by PH-BN as simply affecting themselves without their knowledge.

“One by one the slanders that was attempted to be thrown to the Kedah Menteri Besar planned to bring down his reputation.

“Ironically the opposite is true. The slander is digging deeper into PH-BN’s grave. All the insults and slanders directed at the leadership of the Kedah Menteri Besar have been answered and it shows that the Madani ministers did not know the administration well,” he said in a statement on Monday.

Ahmad who was the Pokok Sena MP claimed that all federal government ministries and PH-BN leadership were deployed to topple the image as well as character of a Menteri Besar.

He explained that it was tragic when not only their plans had failed, but support towards Sanusi had increased.

“Kedah Pas is confident that PH-BN do not have another stronger political mileage in the state elections. Even their own poster boy could not match the aura of Sanusi.

“PH-BN are losing their confidence towards their poster boy until it forced the Madani Minister to act in such a way.

“People in the six states (involved in the state polls) especially Kedah are prepared to ensure PH-BN are brought to their knees and Sanusi will rise,” he said.
