SHAH ALAM - The Pas leadership through the legal and human rights bureau (Luham) is handling the case involving caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to the best of their capabilities.

Its deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man asked leaders at all levels to remain calm and avoid getting involved in any provocations deliberately designed by irresponsible parties.

"Pas urges all members to continue praying to Allah SWT to be given the strength as well as the success to face this test," he said in a Facebook post, today.

Earlier, Sanusi pleaded not guilty to two counts of sedition at the Selayang Sessions Court over his statement on the appointment of the Selangor Menteri Besar and the establishment of the unity government in his speech, a week ago.

Before that, he was arrested by a team of police from the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at a hotel room in Mont Kiara at 3am the same day.

Tuan Ibrahim thanked all parties who continued to support Sanusi and prayed for Perikatan Nasional's (PN) victory in the state polls.
