KUANTAN - Pas central information chief Khairil Nizam Khirudin has urged all party information machineries on all levels to support Pas and Perikatan Nasional (PN) to remain calm in the wake of the arrest of caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.

He said that any hasty actions in the preparation of content or comments on the matter would only serve to further push the "3R" issue, which Pakatan Harapan-Umno has allegedly used as a model to attack PN in the upcoming 15th state elections in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan.

"All developments on this matter and any orders will be informed officially by Pas central parties," he said in a Facebook post today.

Khairil Nizam also urged all Pas members to continue to work hard, pray, and trust in Allah SWT to give victory to Pas and PN in the state elections.

Sanusi was arrested at a hotel in Mont Kiara on Tuesday morning by the Federal Police Criminal Investigation Department Classified Crime Investigation Unit at 3am.

He was charged at the Selayang Sessions Court later that day with two counts of sedition for making seditious remarks about the Selangor Menteri Besar and the unity government in a ceramah last week.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges.
