SIK - Perikatan Nasional (PN) secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin claims that Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has sought for his help to nullify the PKR election results, last year after the latter lost to Rafizi Ramli who won the party's deputy president post.

Hamzah who was the Home Minister at that time said Saifuddin met him a week after losing the race for the party's number two position in the polls.

He said Saifuddin made the request through a letter seeking for the party election results to be annulled.

"Saifuddin, don't forget, after a week you lost, you met me with a letter asking for my help to nullify the PKR election results. I have the letter," he said showing the letter to those present at the 'Taujihat Pimpinan: Munajat Perdana programme at Dewan Al-Hana, Sik, here, last night.

In the PKR election, last year, Saifuddin failed to defend his position as the party's deputy president after losing to Rafizi.

Meanwhile, Hamzah who is also Larut MP for described the arrest of caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor at 3am as someting that was contrary to the concept of Malaysia Madani.

"What civilisation? Nabbing a person at 3am. They should have told Sanusi that they want to meet him for a while. I also used to be the Home Minister.

"Don't mess around. A fight is a fight. It is our fight that is fair," he added.
