Rumours on Salahuddin Ayub's passing not true - Press secretary
SHAH ALAM - Rumours on the passing of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub is not true.
This was confirmed by his press secretary Nur Syakirin Husnal.
“Stop spreading the news and believe in rumours.
“Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub is still breathing. His heart still functions. He is now in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU),” he said in a brief statement, today.
In a text message, as of 8.46pm, Syakirin said he will inform of any updates later.
The news on Salahuddin’s passing has been circulated on social media today by those who had acted irresponsibly.
It was reported that Salahuddin was rushed to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) in Alor Setar, Kedah after experiencing nausea and vomiting.
It was later confirmed that he had a brain hemorrhage.
