UAE'S Crown Prince holds bilateral meeting with Tengku Hassanal in Abu Dhabi

The Crown Prince of UAE Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a high level meeting with the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, in conjunction with the Malaysian Prince’s visit early this week.

ABU DHABI - The UAE’s Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan had held a high level meeting with Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, in conjunction with the Malaysian Prince’s visit early this week.

During the meeting at his office on Monday, Sheikh Khaled who is also Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Tengku Hassanal discussed the close relations between the UAE and Malaysia, as well as opportunities for collaboration across fields of mutual interest to serve the interests of the people of both nations, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Also present in the meeting were Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Executive Council Saif Saeed Ghobash and Mansour Al Dhaheri.

In May, Sheikh Khaled had made a four-day special visit to Malaysia.

The UAE is Malaysia’s second largest trading partner and export destination, as well as the second largest import destination in the West Asia region.

In 2022, Malaysia’s total trade with the UAE rose by 73.5 per cent to RM38.73 billion from RM22.33 billion the year before. - BERNAMA
