Man found dead in burning car at Kuantan parking lot

KUANTAN - A man was found dead in a burning vehicle at a car park in Jalan Putra Square 7 Sri Dagangan here on Thursday.
The victim was found with burn marks on the driver's seat of the car.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Services (JBPM) Public Relations Officer Zulfadli Zakaria said the incident was reported at 6.58am.
Following the information received, seven firemen from the Kuantan station were deployed to the scene to aid in putting down the fire.
"The victim was found inside the vehicle when they arrived at the scene.
"Efforts to put out the fire using two hose streams to supply water from the machinery tank," he said.
Zulfadli said the fire was extinguished, but the car was 90 per cent burnt and the victim was confirmed to have died at the scene.
