SEREMBAN - Independent preacher Firdaus Wong Wai Hung claims sodomy was committed in the sexual harassment case involving Pencetus Ummah (PU) Azman Syah Alias with two victims at his home in Sendayan, August, last year.

The fourth day of the discussion in the Sessions Court here on Thursday had him as the 10th witness, informing the court that the victims had told him about the ordeal when they met at Akapela Hotel, Shah Alam on Aug 27, 2022.

"I remember asking the main victim whether Cik Man (Azman) asked to commit sodomy in their first meeting at the SACC Centre on Aug 18, 2022, to which he said no.

"However, in the meeting at Akapela Hotel, the victim said 'uncle, thinking back I was asked to do the same' after another victim spoke out on how Cik Man asked his victim to perform the act," he said in front of Judge Datin Surita Budin.

Firdaus explained the victim said he did not speak about the incident in their first meeting because he could not recall the information due to a headache after being involved in an accident.

He said both victims were enraged about the ordeal and wanted justice but were afraid of not being taken seriously to what was told.

"This is because Cik Man was a celebrity and he was popular. They were worried if they lodged a police report, they would be sued.

"I told them if they wanted justice and to uphold the truth, they must lodge a report to enable investigations to be done," he said,

When asked by lawyer Norman Mohd Nasir representing PU Azman how the sodomy incident happened, Firdaus said the victim said they were convinced by the accused.

However, he could not recall whether the acts had been ongoing and what was the position of the accused's body during the incident.

"I remember one of the victims said he was showering at Cik Man's home, the accused knocked on the bathroom door and asked him to open it and said 'you don't need to be embarrassed with your father', those were the words used.

"The victim then stepped out of the bathroom with his towel on, but Cik Man then asked to 'play' or sodomy," he said.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Zahida Zakaria questioned the choice of words used by the victim when retelling the story, whether it was to 'play' or the act of sodomy.

Firdaus explained what was told by the victim was 'play' and the sodomy wording was used to give an image of the incident.

Judge Datin Surita Budin once again questioned Firdaus of how he knew about the sodomy act as the victim used the word ‘play’ and he said it was a term for sodomy.

On Oct 12, 2022, PU Azman was charged with five counts of physical sexual assault on two teenage boys in February and July last year.

Based on the charges, the accused had allegedly committed physical sexual acts to the 16 and 17-year-old teen victims in a manner of extreme obscenities.

The offences were done in the bathroom and living room of a home in Taman Tiara Sendayan in Nilai on July 6 last year.

PU Azman faced seven more charges related to the sexual crimes he allegedly committed against two teenagers at the Shah Alam, Klang and Ampang Courts.
