BAYAN LEPAS - The atmosphere at Dewan Bukit Belah nomination centre was charged with excitement as former Bayan Lepas assemblyman, Azrul Mahathir Aziz, made a grand entrance at 8.20am.

Dressed in a white Malay traditional attire, Azrul was warmly received by hundreds of enthusiastic supporters from both Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN).

In a surprising turn of events, today marked a momentous day as former political adversaries came together, waving PH flags in unison.

The sight of red and blue supporters joining hands was a testament to the power of unity and cooperation.

The spotlight is on Gerakan president, Dominic Lau, who is set to go head-to-head with Azrul in a two-cornered contest for the Bayan Lepas parliamentary seat.
