SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate for Paya Jaras state seat Datuk Ab Halim Tamuri commenced his day with a meaningful act of faith.

Accompanied by around 50 supporters, he performed hajat prayers before making his way to the Nomination Centre at the District and Land Office Memorial Hall on Saturday.

The hajat prayers commenced at 7.50am at the Paya Jaras State Assembly PN Main Operations Room in Shah Alam.

Dressed in a traditional blue Baju Melayu, Ab Halim arrived at the PN Operations Room at 7.30am, where he was joined by his enthusiastic supporters.

Together, they marched towards the Petaling District and Land Office Memorial Hall, passionately chanting 'New Selangor' and takbir.

Notably, Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang was reported to be present at the hall, showing his support for Ab Halim and the PN candidate's aspirations.

The scene was a display of unity and dedication among the supporters as they offered prayers and set off with zeal towards the Nomination Centre. With the election fervor in the air, the Paya Jaras constituency promises to be an area of keen interest during the upcoming polls. Voters are gearing up to cast their ballots and participate in shaping the future of Selangor.
