State polls: Fauzi Nawawi shows support for Tendong independent candidate
PASIR MAS - Popular actor and drama director Fauzi Nawawi today came to support Datuk Seri Suzainal Adnan Sukri who will be contesting as an independent candidate for the Tendong State Legislative Assembly in the state election set on Aug 12.
Fauzi said he had known Suzainal for a long time and that the latter has what it takes to become a leader.
"I have known him (Suzainal) for a long time as a leader of a non-governmental organisation (NGO) who is very attentive to its members.
"He is caring. I feel that he has the characteristics of a leader in Tendong," he said.
Fauzi said Suzainal had been helping the people in the area for a long time.
He added that voters needed to support someone like Suzainal.
"I hope Suzainal wins," he said.
