SHAH ALAM - Kota Anggerik candidate Najwan Halimi from Pakatan Harapan calls on supporters to avoid touching on sensitive issues such as 3R (race, religion, royalty) and provoke rival parties throughout the campaigning period.

"We will make sure this campaign will run smoothly without touching on sensitive issues,” he said when met at the Dewan Besar Tanjung MBSA nomination centre, here.

Recently, Najwan was embroiled in a controversy for making a racial slur against Parti Socialis Malaysia (PSM) and its candidate for the Meru state assembly seat, Sivaranjani Manickam.

Najwan added that PH is confident in defending Selangor in the upcoming state elections

"We will start campaigning today and prepare ourselves in terms of machinery, logistics.

"We ask the supporters of Pakatan Harapan (PH) to continue lending their support so that we would win the majority of the seats," he added.
