PORT DICKSON - The notion that Datuk Seri Najib Razak, popularly known as "Bossku," supporters support Perikatan Nasional during the state election has been refuted as mere opposition propaganda.

Najib's daughter, Nooryana Najwa, denied the allegation, according to Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

"Najib does not recognise that group. Instead, he gives strong support to BN, PH (Pakatan Harapan) and the unity government

"This is propaganda from the other side. Najib, our former leader is closely associated with Umno and BN," Zahid said during a press conference after the Casual Talk programme with BN candidates from Bagan Pinang and Linggi, today.

Previously, the media reported that the President of Persatuan Jalinan Perpaduan Negara Malaysia, Syed Muhammad Imran Syed Abdul Aziz claimed that Bossku's supporters did not ride on Najib's name but felt deceived by Zahid.

Following that, Nooryana made a statement refuting the claim that Syed Muhammad Imran received any instructions from her father to issue any statement.

Umno president Zahid expressed confidence that Najib's three children associated with Umno were the sources of the supportive messages.

"I am convinced that Yana, Nazif and Nizar's statements are political in nature and are more consistent," Zahid said.
