KOTA BHARU - Pas urges the Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil to resign following a recent incident involving indecent behaviour by the international artist group, The 1975.

Pas Youth Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said that the government should be more sensitive and conduct thorough screenings before allowing international artists to hold concerts in the country.

"These international rock artist groups strongly support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) agenda.

"Among them is also the group Coldplay.

"We demand that the government screen thoroughly before approving such concerts, and if they are associated with such agendas, do not allow them to enter the country early.

"But instead, the government slams us in the Dewan Rakyat, claiming that the Opposition has nothing else to talk about," he said during his speech at the Ceramah Perdana Isu-isu Semasa here yesterday.

The Pasir Mas MP also claimed that the incident reflects the government's laxity in handling such matters within the country.

"Therefore, the Communications and Digital Minister must resign," he said.
