Sanusi a phenomenon in Malaysia - Permatang Pauh MP
PERMATANG PAUH – Permatang Pauh MP Muhammad Fawwaz Mohamad Jan said caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has become a phenomenon not only in northern Malaysia but throughout the country.
"Not only in the north, but Sanusi has become a phenomenon throughout Malaysia.
"Not only his voice, but his every gesture and action has become a phenomenon," Fawwaz told Sinar Daily.
He said Sanusi's popularity would have a big impact in Penang, which is located near Kedah.
"Most of the people in Penang will vote for Perikatan Nasional (PN) due to Sanusi's influence. He is a vocal leader who is not afraid to speak up for the people.
"He is not only vocal, but he also has many facts to share with the people," he added.
Sanusi will be defending his incumbent state seat of Jeneri in a one-on-one electoral bout in the coming Aug 12 Kedah polls.
He will be contesting under PN and will be up against Barisan Nasional's (BN) Datuk Muhamad Khizri Abu Kassim.
