Shah Alam – Damansara MP Gobind Singh Deo has slammed Perikatan Nasional's narrative, dismissing claims that the government would collapse if it fails to cooperate with the opposition.

The lawyer spoke on the significance of loyalty in maintaining a strong government for the country's welfare.

“Loyalty is important. We want to ask PN like (Datuk Seri) Azmin Ali and Tan Sri Muhyiddin, why did you hop parties?” Gobind questioned during

speech in Mega Sg Pelek Talk, Taman Murni, Sepang.

“Since the pandemic, we saw changing ministers and finally, we feel stable being ruled under (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim. If this government can stay for another five years, that is a great sign of determination and we will continue to put in the work as Unity government,” he assured.

Citing caretaker Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shaari as an example, he said the menteri besar remained to continue serving the people.

"This signals a party that cares for the people, not those who only care about power and status,” he added.

He criticised PN for continuously claiming that they will replace any state government, leading to the collapse of the federal government.

Refuting this claim, he said the current government would remain in place and continue its work.

He also touched on economic benefits under Madani government with an increase in investors in Selangor including from billionaire Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk.

“This advantage shows that Pakatan Harapan (PH) is a government that not only focuses on the economy but also on the fate of the people. We will want to create high-income jobs and more job opportunities for the people.

“You have to make sure that you don’t only support but go out to vote on Aug 12,” Gobind urged.
