Azmin a stiff-necked - Amirudin
BANTING - Perikatan Nasional (PN) Selangor chairman Azmin Ali is stiff-necked for repeatedly asking the same questions for things that have been presented, says caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar.
Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who is also Pakatan Harapan (PH) - Barisan Nasional (BN) Sungai Tua candidate, said that the former Selangor Menteri Besar had previously accused him of being arrogant when he presented Selangor’s achievement.
“Let's not bring to PN to Selangor as when I presented to him all above-board Selangor’s achievement, he accused me of being arrogant.
"He is the one who is arrogant because he keep on asking the same questions even though everything has been presented," he said at the Ceramah Kita Selangor ' Arus Merah Kuning', here, on Monday.
Amirudin also highlighted that PN was only recycling their campaign materials and if they took over Selangor, the state would would go backwards.
Amirudin added that if the people had listened to PN, all the coalition did were disputing PH-BN.
"Our prime minister went to Sabah, they dispute on it and all they do is talk bad about us.
"With this, I'm glad that the state election is happening and we can show that none of the parties under the unity government is against each other.
"In Selangor, we just have one goal and it is continuity and make Selangor better by bringing success.
"There's more new plans to be channelled here and it would be solid for the future," he said.
Commenting further, he added during Azmin’s term as the Selangor Menteri Besar, all he spent was RM1.4 billion for the public the former spent RM2.3 billion.
"We spend more for the public to guarantee programmes for sustainability," he said.
He also added that PN would only use voters sentiments, race and religion as a strategy and bring up the same old issue.
"For example, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor went over the boundary and yet there's no any firm action taken by the party towards him or no one apologise as well.
"This shows that PN was not sincere and they never bothered about the public and save the country as they even take bribes as well," he said.
He added PH-BN did not only offer empty promises and even have The Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (Idriss) as one of the plans for the continuity and stability of Selangor.
"We want stability and we know we are not perfect, but choose unity government (PH-BN) for stability and continuity of the country," he said.
