PASIR PUTEH – Pas Deputy President Datuk Idris Ahmad commends the actions of former Limbongan state asssemblyman Mohd Nazlan Mohamed Hasbullah for actively assisting the party's candidate in the state elections.

He stated that his action should serve as an example for all Pas members.

"Masya-Allah... great job Ustaz Nazlan, even though he is not the candidate, he works like one.

His performance as a representative of the people was commendable, but when the party decided to replace him with Ustazah Asilah, he accepted it," he said in a post on Facebook today.

He said the action showed that Nazlan was aware that becoming a candidate was not a personal right but a decision of the party.

He added that such character could lead him much further into becoming a future leader of the party.

Previously, Nazlan was the Limbongan State Assemblyman in the 14th General Election.

However, in this state election, his name was dropped as a candidate and replaced by Nor Asilah Mohamed Zin.
