KUALA LUMPUR – Perikatan Nasional (PN) has established a special committee for the Indian community, which will be spearheaded by secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.

"I would like to announce to the voters of Hulu Kelang that PN has established a special committee for the Indian community, which will be chaired by a non-Indian, who is Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin," he said, addressing the crowd during the Ceramah Umum at Taman Melawati on Wednesday.

He had earlier criticised Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over how the latter answered a student’s question, which was perceived as rude, during a dialogue session at a matriculation college in Pongsu Seribu, Kepala Batas, on Saturday.

"Is that how you speak to a young girl? So rude and arrogant," he said.

He also criticised that the current government for not having good planning and only likes to make promises while PN had come up with great manifestos in just 10 months.

"In 10 months, we are able to create great manifestos that could change Selangor while the current government is only left with no planning and broken promises," he added.
