BAYAN LEPAS - Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) vice-president Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee has said that Gerakan President Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai's win in the Kepala Batas seat is crucial for Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Speaking at a PN Ceremah Kelompok in Bayan Lepas today, Kiandee said that Lau's win is important because it sends a message to PN's rivals that the party is united and strong.

"Our rivals are so eager to see Lau losing his seat in the upcoming state election.

"They have been saying that PN is not an inclusive party and that we have internal issues. But tonight proves that all their statements are false. We have tremendous support for Lau and our rivals will be disappointed when the voters cast their vote for him this Saturday," he said.

Kiandee also slammed Pakatan Harapan (PH) for continuously calling PN an "inclusive party".

"How can we be an inclusive party if we only have Malay leaders?

"We have leaders from Sabah and we have Gerakan, which is a Chinese-based party. We are a party for all Malaysians, regardless of race or religion," he said.

Kiandee believes that the voters in Bayan Lepas are "matured and aware of the Madani government".

He is confident that PN will win the seat and that the PN wave will continue to sweep across the country.

"There is only one day left until the election.

"I am confident that PN voters have come to a decision. The PN wave cannot be stopped by anyone. It is possible for us to win all six states, including Penang," Kiandee said.

Kiandee urged the Penangites to use their voting power and make sure that PN conquers its contested seat in Penang.
