SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has said that the current government is not believable.

Speaking at the PN Pentas Setiausaha Agung here today, Wan Mohd Fayhsal said that the government has made a number of promises that they have yet to keep, such as lowering the price of oil.

"How can a Prime Minister who said that if he was a Prime Minister, he would lower down the price of oil the next day, but does not do so when he is one, be trusted?" he asked.

Wan Mohd Fayhsal also criticised the current Economy Minister, Rafizi Ramli, for his "if you can't afford it, don't buy it" formula for dealing with the rising cost of living.

"This is a ridiculous formula that does not take into account the reality of the situation for many Malaysians," he said.

Wan Mohd Fayhsal said that PN is the only party that can be trusted to deliver on its promises and to improve the lives of ordinary Malaysians.

"We have a comprehensive economic stimulus package that will help to close the wealth gap and jump-start the economy.

"We also have experienced leaders like Azmin Ali (Datuk Seri Azmin Ali) who can lead Selangor to greater heights," he added.
