KUALA LUMPUR - Perikatan Nasional leaders cannot be compared to statesmen like Tun Abdul Razak and Tun Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“How can you compare Muhyiddin (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) and Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin to the likes of these statesmen with their rich history.

“No class,” he said at the Kita Selangor Gramd Finale Ceramah at AU Keramat here today.

Specifically addressing the Umno Youth crowd, Anwar said how they could support leaders (PN) who have abandoned the true purpose of the party’s struggle.

Anwar then urged the youths in the crowd to go out and vote this Saturday.

“You are the youths of this county, we must save this country, don’t let victory go to the corrupt.

“Don’t think that the state polls are not important, every vote counts, we must show that Selangor is the best in everything, including its democratic values and processes,” he said to cheers from the crowd.
