It is less than 24 hours for parties contesting for the 245 State Legislative Assembly seats in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu, in tomorrow’s State Elections to put on their final efforts.

The clash between two power blocs - the Pakatan Harapan (PH)-Barisan Nasional (BN) alliance and the Perikatan Nasional (PN) - certainly raises the question of who will be the people's choice.

Today, the focus is undoubtedly on the "grand finale" rallies that serve as the final campaign platform for the alliances to secure votes in those six states.

Yesterday, PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that he would attend the Selangor PN Grand Finale rally, scheduled tonight at 9 pm.

Muhyiddin, through a Facebook post yesterday, invited the public to join him at the rally to be held at Padang Awam Fasa 5, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, to conclude the PN campaign for this State Election.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be concluding the Kedah state poll campaign by touring several districts in the state, today.

These are the final efforts by the top leaderships of PH-BN and PN before awaiting the election results from the people.

Usually, the "grand finale" rally or the final campaign before voting day differs from other campaigns. It potentially becomes a platform for each party to address crucial issues that could influence voter sentiment and change voting dynamics.

Lately, many issues have been raised that could act as potential game-changers in influencing voters’ sentiment, such as the "3R" issue (race, religion, royalty), bribery allegations, government leadership performance, cost of living, and economic downturn.

Not to be forgotten is the debate on economic matters between the Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli and Member of Parliament for Bachok Syahir Sulaiman, held last Wednesday, which is expected to also play a role in the "grand finale" rallies.

The final push through the "grand finale" campaigns is expected to raise the temperature of the State Elections and play a crucial role in helping the people make their party choices.
