SHAH ALAM - The dissemination of videos through social media and the distribution of sensitive materials are among the cases detected during the ongoing State Elections.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said investigation papers have been opened for both cases and investigations are underway.

"Fifty-two reports have been classified as not involving any offence or arrest, two police reports as referred to other reports (ROR), two reports as no further action (NFA) and one report as referred to another agency (ROA)," he said in a statement today.

He said monitoring is being carried out to ensure that every campaign and speech complies with the established regulations.

"As of today, 191 campaigns and 84 speeches were conducted with permits," he said.

He advised all voters to vote early to avoid congestion.

"The public is advised to comply with instructions and directives issued by the Election Commission officials to ensure the State Elections process runs safely and smoothly," he added.
