GEORGETOWN - Ipoh Barat MP M Kulasegaran has questioned Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang's claims that people should not vote for Pakatan Harapan (PH) because it has DAP.

Kula slammed Hadi for his alleged "irrational thinking" and constantly twisting and discussing race and religion.

"Presiden Pas said you cannot vote for PH and the Unity Government because it has DAP.

"Is DAP a terrorist organisation? We (DAP) have been consistent since before, DAP's MPs stand from all races. We are a people's party, that's the difference between us and Perikatan Nasional (PN)," he said in a ceramah in Karpal Singh Drive here today.

The former human resources minister further said that it is possible to win the Kedah state seats as well in the state polls tomorrow.

"Hadi's thought is not rational, they only think to get in power. He said that he dreamt of winning all six states and can easily win Putrajaya. You think its that easy?

"There is no way to shake the government. We can win in Kedah too even though they do various of things to divert the people's mind there," he said.

Commenting further, Kula expressed his utmost disappointment on the former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's negligence in solving people's issues at that moment.

"When I was the former minister, Muhyiddin and I was in charge in a committee to resolve identification card (IC), birth certificate and citizenship issues.

"In two years back then, I called him up to attend a meeting to discuss the issues but not once he came.

"That shows that Muhyiddin is not a responsible man, he just wants power without responsibility," he said.

Kula, therefore praises Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution's commitment for taking in charge of the committee and solving issues immediately.

"Now under the Unity Government, they have a new committee where Saifuddin is in charge. He pledges to 10,000 cases every year, now its been only six months and he managed to solve now 9,000 cases," he said.
