‘Difficult if the state govt differs from federal govt’ – Gobind

GEORGETOWN — Selangor DAP chairman Gobind Singh Deo stresses that it will be difficult if the state government is different from the federal government.

"If we have a new government, our policies will change. So, until when do we want this (to continue)?

"We want a government in Penang to work with the federal government in Putrajaya.

"Enough is enough. We suffered under Perikatan Nasional (PN)," he elaborated during his speech at Ceramah Mega Perpaduan at Persiaran Karpal Singh today.

He urged Penangites not to believe what had been stated by PN leaders, who claimed that the election results tomorrow would have an impact on the leadership in Putrajaya.

"This is not true. This is a state election. Whatever the decision, it is a permanent decision.

"We already have a government in Putrajaya. So, PN, don't spread false information," he said.

Gobind highlighted that the Penangites could see the best administration was the one led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after eight months.

"Eight months after Anwar became PM, we can see he continues to do his job.

"We see him daily doing his job and meeting the rakyat," he added.
